So... What's in the oven for the official release? What assets and tools might us DM's have at our fingertips with the power of Skirmish VT?

Working out the kickstarter details and working on a proper store system so free & other assets can be downloaded from the web downloaded/updated automatically from the client

Will those of us that already have the trial version installed have access to purchasing the new updated version of Skirmish complete with all it's goodies when it is out or will we have to either donate or go through the next Kickstarter?

A successful kickstarter campaign will allow us to focus all our time and effort on Skirmish! which would make a full release in 2016 very probable. As with most kickstarter campaigns we will also offer some kind of reward level which enables people to gain early access. This means you will get access to Skirmish! while we are working on it and it will also enable you to be the first to get your hands on new features / plug-ins that are work-in-progress.

As with any kickstarter, if you support our campaign and it turns out to be successful of course you will be rewarded with the final software and other goodies such as content, etc. which we will have yet to figure out in detail.
