Support multiple maps per game

Allow more than 1 map/area per game so that we can easily show different areas in the same adventure.
Allow rapid switching between these, for instance for indoor scenes vs. the outdoor map or where a party is separated and seeing entirely different areas.

Kind of  like the tabs of a browser?

Tabbing maps like a browser would be cool.

Sounds like a good idea; added it to our internal list of possible future features. :>

Tabs would be good - I like . As long as the tabs aren't too intrusive. Drag and drop tokens between tabs ideally, individually or as a group/set

This is honestly the only thing keeping me from cancelling my roll20 account and using Skirmish right now for my campaign. We use roll20 "around the table" in real life for mapping and combat tracking purposes. We usually toggle two or three maps (province and player levels) at once depending on if the party is split up. If there was quicker way of doing this and maybe even being able to organize them somehow, I would be ecstatic! So, I am definitely looking forward to this hopefully becoming a feature!

Thanks for your feedback. With the kickstarter campaign opening later this year we intend to realize all the features listed on the "home" page. "Tabs" are also on our list. To make use of tabs easy we could probably allow "teleporting" between maps / tabs via the tile function as seen on the Welshly Arms Inn map. So many ideas... :D

This idea would be an absolutely amazing feature for seamless transition between areas, especially in combination with an auto center feature for the person being teleported. I, for one, would implement it often for my games, which are all in an online gameplay environment.

Yes, sorry, "the auto-centering after teleport" will be added of course. I didn't mention it again cause it was already on our list.

It also would come in handy if the party gets split up or to create a SameSpace illusion effect.
EDIT: To add, I wanted to say "what if a player fell into a deep hole/trap" as an example.  :)
